‘Monster Hunter Now’ Is Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the ‘Monster Hunter’ Series With Special Events and Quests From Today

Niantic and Capcom have begun celebrating the 20th anniversary of Capcom’s best franchise from today inside Monster Hunter Now (Free) on iOS and Android for a limited time. The Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Celebration includes an exclusive in-game medal, guaranteed hunt-a-thons with Zinogre, an increased appearance rate for specific monsters (Black Diablos, Pink Rathian, Azure Rathalos, and Barioth), and more. Capcom has been counting down the top 20 monsters on its Twitter account as well leading up to the anniversary event later this month. The event will be available from March 4th at 9 AM local time in your region. In addition to the 20th anniversary medal, there will be materials like carpenterbugs, monster materials (Rathian Plate, Diablos Marrow, and more) also available as rewards for these special quests from now until March 24th at 11:59 PM local time.
