Back in April last year, Super Meat Boy Forever ($0.99) finally hit mobile following its announcement back in 2014. The conversion was amazing, but it had some issues. Read my review of the iOS version here and Jared’s Game of the Week feature on it here. Today, Super Meat Boy Forever on mobile has gotten a surprise update bringing in support for The Daily Grind and Quick Play. The Daily Grind is a new randomly generated level that changes daily. Your aim here is to get to the top of the leaderboards. Quick Play lets you play a level from all of the chunks in a chapter with potentially new things. Forever Forge is a new option to see user generated levels including an official additional chapter from Team Meat. Check out screenshots from the game’s update below:
Super Meat Boy Forever is getting a super meaty update!
Daily randomly generated levels! Quick Play, which offers a new mixup of current levels! User-generated levels! And more!

If you’ve not paid attention to it at all, Super Meat Boy Forever is the sequel to Super Meat Boy, and it includes more than 7000 handcrafted level chunks that are algorithmically put together into levels. You can grab Super Meat Boy Forever on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. The mobile version is priced at $0.99 with no ads or in app purchases. It is priced at $19.99 on Nintendo Switch and other platforms making the mobile version a superb deal. Check out our forum thread for Super Meat Boy Forever here for more impressions. Have you played Super Meat Boy Forever on any platform yet or will you be grabbing it today on mobile with the update?
