Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
Oh wow…. I was expecting a trailer like this. Like many out there, I felt that the DCEU (the last couple ones) have been aimless, with very little to no connection to their greater cinematic universe. This is especially noticeable with the recent shake-up of DC Comics movies and how a new direction (and new universe) is in accordance with James Gunn’s vision for the DC film world. The Flash, one of the last films under the “old regime” seems to act like the catalyst to “reset” this established universe of DC superheroes and villains and boy…. does it look fantastic. I was a little bit leery about this upcoming project, but this trailer looks amazing. I am curious how everything plays out. Can’t wait to see what’s in store when the film reaches its conclusion!
