Massively Popular ‘Vampire Survivors’ Is Out Now on iOS and Android for Free

Ahead of The Game Awards 2022, the massively popular Vampire Survivors (Free) has released on iOS and Android for free. Vampire Survivors is one of the most popular PC games right now, and it is a regular on every Steam Deck most-played list from Valve. Read my Steam Deck review of it here. I kept hoping we’d see a mobile version of Vampire Survivors arrive with portrait support, and it has finally arrived. The current version has touch and controller support. I tried my Razer Kishi V2 on iPhone and set the game to landscape, and it worked fine. With touch, it plays great in portrait mode. Check out the game’s PC launch trailer:

As of this writing, there is no official announcement for this release, so I assume it is to be announced and released during The Game Awards. The Android version up now is actually an update to the older version that was released a while ago. The now public build on Google Play has the same URL as the beta on the official discord which has been in testing recently. If you’d like to grab it, you can get Vampire Survivors on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. As of this writing, it is free without any in app purchases. It only has optional ads you can view to earn more gold when you get a game over. Hopefully this gets updated alongside the Steam version and gets access to the DLC soon. Check out our forum thread here for more discussion and impressions around the port.
