Originally announced for release in August, The 13th Month from Japanese developer Kobayashimaru and publisher Kodansha released on PC via Steam worldwide this month. The dark fantasy visual novel that reimagines the classic Sleeping Beauty tale, is now due for release on iOS and Android in 2023. Following the launch on PC, the developers announced that The 13th Month for mobile is being worked on right now with an aim to release next year. The PC version will be patched to fix bigs and add Chinese language support. If you’ve not followed The 13th Month yet, watch the trailer below:
The 13th Month is currently available with English support on PC via Steam for $19.99. Check it out here if you’d like to try it before it hits mobile. There’s also a free demo available. A confirmed release date for iOS and Android alongside a price point are both yet to be revealed. Hopefully the mobile version isn’t too far into 2023 considering the PC version is ready and localized for this visual novel. I’ve not played too much of it yet, but I like the aesthetic so far. Check out the official website here. What do you think of The 13th Month and its reimagining of Sleeping Beauty?
