Mini Metro’s New Major Update Adds the Tashkent Map, Histograms in Leaderboards, and More

Dinosaur Polo Club’s Mini Metro ($3.99) which is also available on Apple Arcade as an App Store Great, Android, Nintendo Switch, and Steam just got a major update adding in a new map, histogram style leaderboards, and more. This is Mini Metro’s first major update in about half a year. This update follows the Lunar New Year update, Budapest, and Addis Ababa updates hitting the game for free over the course of the last year or so. Today’s update brings in Uzbekistan’s capital city, Tashkent. This brings in Central Asia’s first underground metro featuring the Chatkal mountains and Chirchiq river. If you’re wondering how to unlock Tashkent in Mini Metro, you need to score 500 or more in Washington DC.

It hasn’t gone live on Android or Nintendo Switch yet. Mini Metro is one of the best games you can play on a touchscreen. If you’ve not played it yet, read Shaun’s glowing review of it. If you’re on Android, it is also available in Google Play Pass in addition to Google Play.
