The marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has long since grown cold. Though rumors of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be profoundly different. SPENCER is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.
Hmmmm……very interesting. I’ve always been quite fascinated with England’s royals, especially with all the controversy surrounding Princess Diana. Of course, I’ve seeing many various adaptations over the years, including The Queen and The Crown, which covers portions of this topical debate. This, of course, is why I’m very curious to see Spencer. From this trailer alone, the movie looks to be quite promising, presenting the fragile and turmoil state that Diana faced during her time with the England’s royal family as well as the struggle she faces. I’m still not quite 100 percent sold on the idea of Kristen Stewart playing Diana, but I hope to be surprised. Overall, I’m looking forward to see Spencer this holiday season.
