Venom: Let There Be Carnage Official Trailer

Two can be as bad as one as Sony Pictures releases the official trailer for the upcoming superhero sequel with Venom: Let There Be Carnage. View trailer below.

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL’s greatest and most complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.

I’ll be the first admit that i didn’t care much for the first Venom movie. I love Hardy as an actor and the concept was there, but the movie just wasn’t that good and felt a bit half-baked; falling flat in living up to its hype. Thus, I was a bit surprised when a sequel was announced and now….we finally have a first look at the next chapter. From the trailer alone, it looks to be slightly better than the first entry. The footage showcases plenty of off-beat humor from the first Venom movie as well as being a bit more darker (from the looks of it). All in all, while I am still a little bit skeptical about this movie, I’ll definitely be seeing it. Hopefully….this sequel will be better than the first one.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage  is set to be released (only in theaters) on September 24th, 2021
