Oh wow….I totally forgot about this particular movie. Not so much West Side Story itself, bur rather I forgot that Spielberg was remaking the musical. So, this trailer kind of took me by surprise. To be honest, I haven’t seeing the original Broadway music, but I do know all about the musical (i.e. the Jets and the Sharks and about Tony and Maria) as well as I’ve seeing the original 1961 film of the same name. Although, I haven’t seeing that movie in quite some time (might have to revisit it). This first look at Spielberg’s vision for the iconic musical looks great and definitely will be interesting to see the comparison between the two films. Overall, I’m looking forward to seeing this musical remake in the later portion of 2021. Who is with me?
