‘Genshin Impact’ Melodies of an Endless Online Concert Announced for October 3rd, New Horizon Zero Dawn Collaboration Trailer Showcased at Gamescom 2021

At Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live, miHoYo had a big announcement for Genshin Impact (Free) alongside a look at gameplay from the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration. Genshin Impact recently had version 2.0 release that brought a new region, PS4/PS5 cross save with other platforms, and more. Version 2.1 which will release on September 1st worldwide will include Aloy from Sony’s Horizon Zero Dawn as the first collaboration event for Genshin Impact. The big news from Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live for Genshin Impact is the ‘Melodies of an Endless Journey’ online concert. This will be aired on October 3rd globally for free featuring 90 minutes of music including symphonic performances of the original written by Yu-Peng Chen of HOYO-MiX and covers from different artists internationally. The Genshin Impact music is one of the best parts of the game for me and I’m definitely going to watch this live. Check out the teaser for the concert below:

The ‘Melodies of an Endless Journey’ concert will be around 90 minutes long. Barring the main symphonic performance, covers will include artists from USA, South Korea, and more. Alongside this concert announcement, the Gamescom 2021 trailer for the Genshin Impact collaboration with Horizon Zero Dawn’s Aloy had new gameplay showcased. Sony’s Horizon Zero Dawn was also updated for enhanced performance on PS5 during the showcase. Watch the new Genshin Impact collaboration trailer via IGN below:

The PC version is available on the official website here and the Epic Games Store. If you play on iOS, with iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5, you can now use PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers to play Genshin Impact.
